Where the Wild Journey Began
My journey into the wild began in 2006 with a trip to Masinagudi in the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. That magical experience sparked my lifelong love for nature and wildlife. My elder brother, Shereef, was my mentor, guiding me to understand the beauty and depth of the forest.
First Trekking Adventure
I completed my first forest trek to Pakshipathalam (now known as the Brahmagiri Trek) in Wayanad. It was a challenging yet rewarding introduction to trekking in the Western Ghats.
Behind the Lenses
This was the year I picked up my first Canon digital camera and began exploring the world of amateur wildlife photography. Capturing the untamed beauty of nature through the lens became a new passion.
Starting My YouTube Channel
A trip to the Kabini Forest and a stay at Jungle Lodges and Resorts marked a turning point. I prepared to vlog the entire journey — and it paid off! My first YouTube video hit 100k views. My cousin and travel partner, Aneesh Mankara, joined me on this adventure and supported me every step of the way. That success was just the beginning — and the journey is still going strong!
